C-LIGHT CAT6 LAN Cable (Category 6 Ethernet cable) is a high-performance twisted-pair cable supporting 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps speeds (10Gbps effective up to 55 meters) with 250 MHz bandwidth. By optimizing pair twisting and adding separators to reduce crosstalk (NEXT), it uses unshielded (UTP) or shielded (STP) designs compliant with TIA-568-C.2 standards and RJ45 connectors. Widely deployed in Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T), enterprise LANs, and smart home cabling, CAT6 offers a cost-effective solution for short-reach 10G applications, with simpler installation than CAT6a. However, its 10G performance over long distances is inferior to CAT6a, making it ideal for small-to-medium networks requiring high bandwidth.
